The drive from Kathmandu to Lhasa takes seven days over the 'Friendship Highway'; along the way stopping at quietly enchanting Buddhist monasteries and remote villages untouched by modern civilization. A generous two nights will be spent at Everest Base Camp, time to take in some unforgettable views of the highest mountain on the Earth.
Program Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu to Lhasa by Flight.
Arrive at Lhasa Gongar airport. You will be met, assisted and transfered to Lhasa. Check into hotel.
Day 02/03: Lhasa Sightseeing Tour
Full day sight seeing tours of Lhasa's spiritual, cultural, historic place of the Potala Palace, Norbulinka Palace, the must-see Drepung, Sera Monastery, the rarely visited Lukhang Temple and Markhor Bazaar.
Day 04: Transfer to airport for fly back to Kathmandu.
