Two days wilderness experience ideal for those seeking an introduction to rafting in this river. Spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and rapids increasing in excitement as your confidence grow. In our opinion, a much more enjoyable trip than the Trisuli.
The first day we drive west of kathmandu early in the morning for Damauli. After the rafts are rigged, we set off down the Seti River, a tributary of the Saptagandaki River. We spend the whole day with in its forested canyon. In the afternoon a small but technical rapid is encountered near the village of Saranghat, inhabited by Magars, who are renowned for generation of service with Gorkha force. Sarangghat is a colorful middle hill village. The first night camp is on a spacious beach below the village
The next day we encounter a technical rapid graded between 3-5 before entering the Trisuli River. After lunch you can visit a unique religious community- Davghat. Well know among the Hindus. After our rafting trip we can back to kathmandu or royal Chitwan National park.
All above trip cost includes all meals (from lunch to lunch), all rafting equipment including life jacket & helmets, sleeping bag, mattress and transportation. The cost not include bottled/alcoholic beverages, any kind of insurance and personal expenses.
